So, this post is super late, but I had a blast at the Read Local event at Anderson Library!
I saw some familiar faces (shout out to Kailey Bright and Pam Zollman!), and got to meet more than a dozen new, local authors.
I sold some books, sold some book-themed soaps, and made plenty of connections. Anderson Library also held a raffle for loads of signed books. Patrons needed to get initials from at least 15 authors to enter into the raffle, which was a great way to encourage engagement!
Overall, the event was a great success, and I can’t wait to participate next year!
